In 2023, Art by Physicist, Hackster.io, Make: magazine, MakeFashion, ASCA, nLITEn and esteemed tech-fashion judges collaborated on the 2023 Tech Fashion Design Challenge, inviting makers, designers, and visionaries to participate in a contest that showcased their ingenuity.
Sprite Lights won the "Out of the Box" special Prize. Winners were selected to collectively enter this Kickstarter campaign, to continue their creative journey and bring their ideas into reality.
Sprite Lights was proud to be one of three finalists in the Arduino Internet of Things Challenge put on by Arrow and Indiegogo in 2018. While it was not selected as the grand prize winner, Sprite Lights was still displayed in the Arrow booth at CES.
In 2019, Sprite Lights was selected for a Founder Shower by TechniGirl. This event held at General Assembly in Santa Monica, CA included a presentation about Sprite Lights, networking, and gifts centered around helping small makers obtain resources and connections.
The San Diego, CA Maker Faire was the first event Sprite Lights ever attended unveiling its extremely early prototypes to the public for the first time ever. Sprite Lights received a Blue Ribbon from Make at the event.
